adequate stay
beautiful decor guest fridge poor ironing tiny shower
the decor was beautiful. there were extra touches, such as a guest fridge with milk for use in rooms (a really nice addition).
ironing facilities were not great. i had a business meeting the next day and could not iron a shirt (this was inconvenient). i also noticed the shower was tiny.

handy car park vegetarian option
The hotel includes a handy car park . The breakfast offering was excellent and catered for all tastes. The vegetarian option was first class (I am not vegetarian myself, but I tasted it!).
I found the shower to be a little small.

helpful staff on-site car park well decorated room close location
The staff were helpful. I appreciated the on-site car park, made arrival and departure easy. My room was well decorated. I also enjoyed the hotel's close location to local restaurants (I tried the Thai restaurant!).
The WiFi signal in my room was weak.

The room included tea and coffee. The bathroom had complimentary toiletries. I also found the room to be very clean upon arrival, which I appreciated. I got a good night's sleep.

Breakfast included both a full English option and lighter choices. I found the basement restaurant to be well-kept. I also saw staff constantly cleaning and tidying the bar area (a nice touch, I thought).

Acceptable , but Some Issues
poor ironing tiny shower
The breakfast was quite good.
The ironing facilities were very poor , so I could not properly prepare for my meeting. There was no lift , and I would have had great difficulty getting my luggage to the room had it been any larger. The shower was also tiny.

coffee machine first floor hot weekend
The room included a coffee pod machine and a kettle for tea. I found fans in the room and this was good because it was a very hot weekend. A shared fridge was available on the first floor. It had fresh milk.
I could not get the rooms WiFi to work. My stay was only one night.
